This course contains lessons to bring the student from little or no knowledge of English to A1 (CEFR Level). 

By the end of this course, the students will be able to:

Ask and answer questions as well as provide information in everyday situations. Speak with others about general topics. Utilize colloquial expressions and simple phrases to convey information to fulfill daily needs like grocery shopping, talking to the doctor, etc.

Use simple communication when the other person speaks slowly and clearly.

Introduce themselves and others, ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, what they do, describe something, give an opinion, say what they prefer, agree/disagree, decide, suggest, choose, etc.

Elementary
Basic user (core course)

Students have some knowledge of English and can communicate their needs and ideas.

This course contains lessons to bring the student from Beginner to Elementary A2 (CEFR Level).

By the end of this course, the students will be able to:

Understand frequently used spoken language and expressions relevant to activities of daily living such as shopping, asking for and giving directions, employment, etc.

Communicate easily understood language requiring information concerning daily tasks and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.

Describe aspects of their past and matters related to their immediate needs in simple terms, such as expressing personal feelings, making comparisons, and making requests.

Intermediate
Independent user (core course)

Students can communicate their needs due to their English background and knowledge.

This course contains lessons to bring students from Elementary to Intermediate B1 (CEFR Level).

By the end of this course, the students will be able to:

Listen and respond to spoken language, including detailed information and descriptions, and can follow instructions and explanations.

Formally communicate information, feelings, and opinions on general topics.

Informally communicate topics of personal interest such as life experiences, events, wishes, aspirations, etc.

Understand the main points of specific texts in standard language, which includes work, study, or leisure. 

Manage communication in most situations that might arise during travel.

B1 Lessons
Upper-Intermediate
Independent user (core course)

Students can communicate quickly and spontaneously in a clear and detailed manner. At the B2 level, students are more advanced and more independent than at the B1 level. They can understand and be understood in most situations.

This course contains lessons to bring students from Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate B2 (CEFR Level).

By the end of this course, the students will be able to:

Understand complex text on concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field.

Interact fluently and spontaneously with native speakers.

Fluent user (core course)

Students can perform complex tasks related to work and study. At the C1 level, students are proficient users of the language, they can fluently communicate, and are working towards the Advanced level.

This course contains lessons to bring the student from Upper-Intermediate to Proficient C1 (CEFR Level).

By the end of this course, the students will be able to:

Comprehend a wide variety of more challenging, longer content, and recognize implied interpretation in them.

Articulate on their own with complete confidence without much apparent searching for the proper expression.

Academic Training

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Training.

IELTS Academic measures whether your level of English language proficiency is suitable for an academic environment. It reflects aspects of academic language and evaluates whether you are ready to study at an undergraduate or postgraduate level.

You can also take IELTS Academic for professional registration purposes or work in a professional setting, such as a doctor, nurse, teacher, or lawyer.

Lessons on all four tasks of IELTS Academic training are included in the course.

Students will practice speaking English with native and near-native speakers of English from the United States and other parts of the world.

Students will learn tips, skills, and techniques to significantly improve their IELTS scores.

General Training

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) General Training.

You can also take IELTS General Training for work or immigration purposes.

The IELTS General Training test is suitable for those applying to study below degree level; it includes an English-speaking school or college.   It can also be taken for work experience or other employment training.

IELTS General Training is also required for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK. The test features everyday English language skills you will need in social and workplace environments.

This course is dedicated to improving students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills and enhancing confidence and time management in all four parts of the IELTS General Training exam.

IELTS UKVI
Academic Training

All British universities and colleges accept IELTS UKVI Academic results for a student visa at a higher education institution to enter directly onto a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.

The IELTS Academic Training for UKVI test is the same as the IELTS Academic Training test in content, format, scoring, and difficulty level.

However, the IELTS for the UKVI test is only available at test centers that meet the administrative requirements outlined by the UK Home Office. Your Test Report Form (TRF) will also look slightly different if you take an IELTS for the UKVI test.

IELTS Academic and General Training are two separate types of tests for two different purposes. While some individual organizations may accept an academic result in place of General Training, this decision is up to them. You will need to contact your specific organization to learn more.

IELTS UKVI
General Training

The United Kingdom Visa and Immigration (UKVI) application process requires candidates to submit the IELTS UKVI results for specific visa categories and immigration purposes.

IELTS UKVI general test is for test takers who want to work, immigrate, or study below degree level.

 It is a Secure English Language Test (SELT) approved by the UK home office for visa applications to the United Kingdom.

The IELTS General Training for UKVI test is the same as the IELTS General Training test in terms of content, format, scoring, and difficulty level.

The IELTS test you take – and the score you need – will depend on both your visa requirements and/or the requirements of the institution where you plan to study or work.

IELTS UKVI
A1 Life Skills

The United Kingdom Visa and Immigration (UKVI) application process requires candidates to submit the IELTS UKVI results before issuing the visa.

The IELTS (UKVI) test demonstrates the candidate’s ability to speak and listen.

The test assesses how well the candidate communicates in English. There are no quiz questions on the test. Simple questions on familiar topics on the routines of daily life are asked on the test.

A1 Life Skills is for family or spousal visas. This test is done in the candidate’s home country.

The common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability. It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners and up to C2 for proficient speakers.

IELTS UKVI
A2 Life Skills

The United Kingdom Visa and Immigration (UKVI) application process requires candidates to submit the IELTS UKVI results to maintain or extend the visa.

The IELTS (UKVI) test demonstrates the candidate’s ability to speak and listen. Candidates are assessed on how well they obtain or convey information, communicate, and engage in discussion.

After two and a half years in the UK, *non-EEA national partners and parents on the family route will need to pass a speaking and listening test at the A2 level to qualify for further leave or to remain on the five-year partner or parent route settlement.

A2 Life Skills is for family or spousal visas.                         

This test is done in the UK.

IELTS UKVI
B1 Life Skills

The United Kingdom Visa and Immigration (UKVI) application process requires candidates to submit the IELTS UKVI results for specific visa categories and immigration purposes, e.g., work visa, indefinite leave, and citizenship.

The IELTS (UKVI) test demonstrates the candidate’s ability to speak and listen. The tasks in this test reflect the experience of communicating in an English-speaking country.

At the B1 level, the candidate is expected to demonstrate the following:

They can listen and respond to spoken language, communicate information, feelings, and opinions on familiar topics, and talk with one or more people in an everyday situation.

B1 Life Skills is for specific visa categories. This test is done in the UK.     

Pearson Test of English
PTE Academic & PTE UKVI

PTE Academic test includes speaking, writing, reading, and listening.

The PTE test is all computer-based. A machine marks all parts of the test.

The speaking part of the test is also done on the computer where the student speaks to the computer.

You can take the PTE Academic online in just two hours from the comfort of your own home or in another convenient location.

Most test-takers get their results within 48 hours (about two days). PTE is accepted by the Australian, New Zealand, and UK governments and is trusted by over 3,000 universities and colleges.

PTE Home and PTE Academic UKVI are on the UK Government’s list of approved Secure English Language Tests (SELTs). It is required to apply for work, study, or live in the UK.

Occupational English Test (OET)

OET, the English Language Proficiency Test for Healthcare Professionals.

It is developed to cover 12 different healthcare professions. It assesses the communication skills of healthcare professionals who seek to register their license and practice in an English-speaking country.

This test assesses the healthcare provider’s communication skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

Successful OET learners have the English language and clinical communication skills to provide safe, high-quality patient care.

OET is taken at home on the computer or at a test venue.

Regulators, hospitals & universities trust OET in the UK, the US, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, and Singapore as proof of ability to communicate effectively.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

The TOEFL® is a standardized test used to measure the English language skills in reading, listening, speaking, and writing of non-native speakers desiring to enroll in English-speaking universities.

The test is accepted worldwide. The TOEFL® test is preferred by 9 out of 10 US universities.

The TOEFL iBT® is an internet-based test. It is offered in three different ways:

  1. TOEFL iBT® test:Test on a computer at a test center.    

  2. TOEFL iBT®Home Edition: Test on a computer at home. The TOEFL iBT home edition is monitored online by a human proctor.

  3. TOEFL iBT® Paper Edition: Test in two sessions — Reading, Listening, and Writing on paper at a test center and Speaking on a computer at home.
